bila nak mula business nie...


1. Have the right business partner
i) have good contracts without clauses
ii) Vest shares
iii) pick opposite
iv) make sure they are financially stable
2. Get the right timing
i) set datelines and make people accountable to the dateline
ii) make the milestones small and tangible so we can see it well in advance
iii) Create Minimum viable product (MVP)
3. Focus, Focus, Focus
i) focus on sales channels
ii) focus on one product that will give you revenue
iii) have laser focus until your revenue slows down or flatten out.
iv) Focus on improving instead of expanding first
v) double down on your core business. Get more the slice of the pie
vi) innovate on the core business
4. Builds for your customers
i) create MVP
ii) Continue to iterate until you have product market fit
5. Emotions and business don't mix
i) When you are emotional, you'll make decision that will make you fell good instead of making money.
6. Only hire loyal employees.
i) Hire people that fit your culture
ii) make sure eveyone has similiar short and long term goal
iii) be transparent
7. Don't be too greedy
i) If somebody offers money to your company, and it make sense, take it.
ii) You don't need that much money to be happy
8. Frugality is sexy
i) Have reserves because recession will hit
ii) It's okay to be stingy
iii) Cut your salary before you fire
iv) Don't waste money on things that don't matter
v) there's nothing wrong with money sitting in the bank
9. Never take no for an answer
i) Just because someone gives no as an answer, it does not mean that's the end of everything.
ii) As them why they say no
10. Embrace criticism
i) Have an open mind
ii) Never stop learning
iii) Ask for criticism, don't wait for it
iv) not all criticism is equal
